Fridays are dozy days for me. Generally my 'brain' (or hamster in a ball, as my girlfriend would put it) isn't always working. I know that last Friday was a particularly dozy day for me because I saw some of Sarah Wilkinson's new Indiana Jones card artwork, and felt immediately compelled to drop her a note and say "Wow! Your cards are so cool!"
So what was dozy about this?
Well, the email wasn't too bad - I managed to string a sentence together (two of them even, if you count 'wow'), and Sarah even politely responded to it, so I know I got all the words in the right order.
But you see - I missed another sentence or two.
Up until yesterday I'd only dropped Sarah a line to say hey and compliment her work - but what I really should have done was ask if she was happy for me to show you her stuff, and send some general good vibes in her direction.
Luckily - after a quick "...what I should have said was..." email Sarah was happy for me to showcase her new stuff, and to that end - ladies and gentlemen, I present you a quick bite-sized crash course in Sarah Wilkinson's Indiana Jones trading card artwork...
Pretty funky stuff isn't it? Well you know what? As cool as this all is, it doesn't even begin to showcase her artwork. Much more of Sarah's art can be found over at her MySpace page - so be sure to have a look!
