REVIEW: Hulk - 3

Well what can you say about this comic.

If you've already seen Hulk issues 1 and 2 - you'll probably going to know where this review will go. If not - let's just say that it's going to be positive.

***SPOILER ALERT***

For those of you who don't know it yet, there appears to be a brand new Hulk on the scene. The 'new' Hulk is almost exactly the same in appearance as the normal Hulk, except for the red skin, yellow glowing eyes and killer instinct (The Abomination died at his hands earlier in the series).

Issue three carries on the action after the cliffhanger reveal that Rick Jones appears to be the 'new' Abomination (or A-Bomb as he prefers to be called), with Hulk red facing off against him with wanton destruction all around. Oh - and it looks like Hulk red will be going up against Hulk green next issue...

Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness have both done a bang up job on this issue, and the series as a whole thusfar. All the right players are involved (Iron Man, She-Hulk, General Ross, etc), lots of questions are being asked (and slowly answered as the series goes on), and the action from one month to the next is sublime.

Thoroughly recommended.

Pete's Score: 4 out of 5
(do yourself a favour - get this on a monthly basis - it's getting better and better)
