Hahahahahahahahahahaha!
You have to love that title!
And, reading the first and second issue, you'll have to love this comic too! Over the past couple of days I've been absolutely totally and utterly stunned by the quality of this webcomic, and of Black Cherry Bombshells (reviewed yesterday).
I truly can't believe that I've been missing out on such quality free material.
Right - new rule. At least one webcomic review per week. Hey! How about this...
Webcomic Wednesdays! Every week, on a Wednesday - at least one new webcomic review!
But anyway - enough of all that - what about the first two issues of 'I Was Kidnapped By Lesbian Prirates From Outer Space'?
***SPOILER ALERT***
Well - it sure wouldn't be rocket science to work this out from the title, but on the offchance you haven't yet - the story follows Susan, a seemingly normal secretary, who one night after work - is (suprisingly) kidnapped by lesbian pirates from outer space.
The first issue follows Susan coming to terms with her predicament (and coming close to losing her clothes to one of the space pirates), with literally hilarious dialogue between her and the pirates.
Issue two follows the space pirates' robbery of the First Intergalactic Bank situated on planet Phlebon-6, again with chuckle inducing art and plot.
In both books, the artwork is absolutely perfect for the script - the two merging wonderfully. Megan Rose has truly produced something fanstastic here - and I seriously hope it comes out in a (printed) collected volume, as (going on the first two issues) it would most certainly have pride of place!
Erin - great recommendation! Click here to read 'I Was Kidnapped By Lesbian Pirates From Outer Space' on Drunk Duck!
Pete's Score: 4 out of 5
(why on earth did I not read webcomics before?!?)

Hooray! One down fall of webcomics is that the come out one page at a time! Oh well - a small price to pay for free entertainment. I'll keep my eyes open for more of these!
wow! A webcomic convert - this is cause to celebrate!
It is indeed coming out in print form. It's available at your local comic book stores this month, in fact. Ask your local retailer to order it for you and thanks for the great review.
